Formerly known as the One Great Hour of Sharing, UMCOR Sunday is the one day out of the year that UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief) raises funds for administrative or fundraising costs. This way 100% of all other contributions to the projects specified by doners is used to help others - without regard to race, religion, or gender, during their darkest days. When we give, we empower UMCOR to act as the arms and legs of Christ's church. More information on how to donate will follow. As always, checks made out to the church with UMCOR in the memo line will be donated directly to UMCOR.
UMCOR's specialized ministries - responding in disaster, fighting hunger, alleviating poverty, providing relief supplies around the world, and offering hospitality to immigrants and refugees - all bring hope, support and aid to people who need to be surrounded by the love of Christ.
